Perry Miniatures 28mm plastics for The Men Who Would Be Kings

I meant to post about this a little while ago and, umm, completely forgot. Anyhow, we're here now!

In case you were not already aware, Perry Miniatures is due to release a couple of boxes of British infantry for late C19th colonial campaigns; as I understand it, one box will cover the North West Frontier, and the other the Zulu War.

The first mentioned box will also work for the Sudan (alternative helmets are included, it seems), and there's little reason the second box wouldn't work just fine too, assuming you're not an absolute stickler for detail.

The first image shows the box art for the NWF chaps, from the Perry Miniatures Facebook page.

I don't know the composition of the box yet, but I'm hoping a decent TMWWBK force can be put together from it.

And don't forget that they already make a rather fine box of Beja warriors too!

The Men Who Would Be Kings is released in September of this year. It's already available for pre-order from Amazon (and other dealers…).
